Jessica McKillop is raising $250 for Chance For Change
About
So, I’m running a Marathon on the 28th of May this year – which is a perfect excuse to raise awareness and money for charity!! Chance for Change is a small international charity which operates in the UK, Malawi and Nepal. I’ll give you an example of the amazing work that they do – but check out http://chanceforchange.org.uk to see for yourself! In Malawi prisons have horrific overcrowding and inhumane conditions. Chance for Change has a programme that offers an alternative to custodial prison sentences for young men and boys. They operate a reformatory centre where they teach these young men new skills that they can use to set up a life for themselves. They help them to find their families again and reintegrate back into their community. I'm setting out to raise £250 to help Chance for Change continue to provide and add to their programmes which often act as a lifeline to young people. Please join me in supporting them in whatever way you can and keep your fingers crossed that I make it to the finish line next month!! ---- *Thank you for visiting our Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.*
