Hi everyone!
Thanks for stopping by - I would be so grateful if you would have a read of the below and consider supporting me in my effort to run my first full marathon at London Marathon 2018 in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
Noah’s Ark is a community-based hospice service providing support for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in North and Central London and Hertsmere. Their aim is to enable the children with medical needs to live fully by providing both practical and emotional support. I went to visit James and the team at Noah’s Ark and was blown away by how much they do to support the children and their families. Most crucially - James took me to see the site of “The Ark” (pictured above) – a state of the art building that will become North and Central London’s only children’s hospice building that began construction in Sep 2017 that’ will provide a wide range of children’s palliative care services that are currently not available, including sensory gardens, a drop-in facility for families, overnight stays and 24 end of life care – and this is what all donations to the run will be contributing towards!
This is literally double the distance I’ve ever run before – but the training has begun and I’m excited. Please support Noah’s Ark with me and I’ll keep you updated on my (sweaty) progress.
Thank you!
Zoe
