Me and my friend Ben are volunteering with RIPPLE Africa, a Malawi based charity which aims to improve the standard of Education and Healthcare for the local community, preserve and sustainably develop the environment and create work opportunities for the residents of Mwaya on the northern lakeshore of Lake Malawi. We are volunteering for a month at the end of September 2023 and will be helping out on various projects. We will be helping local residents with tasks they have to carry out everyday, such as tree conservation, as well as assisting in local schools. As part of our project, Ben and I are attempting to raise at least £500 each for RIPPLE Africa. We are taking part in a very tough 16km run/assault course at Blaise Castle in Bristol on 23rd of September. This is where you come in!
