Story

Our mission is to fight the causes of poverty and help vulnerable debtors to access justice when they face claims for debt or fines through 3 methods, one of which is to act as McKenzie Friends (court-recognised non-legal supporters of people who lack representation). Another is to train volunteers of our charity and other charities to act as McKenzie Friends. We also pursue test cases through the courts and lobby Parliament when the law or the benefits system are unfair.
