About

Our team consists of 10 operational volunteers from the York Rescue Boat. We are committed to ensuring that our beautiful city remains a safe place for all of our residents and visitors. We all volunteer our time freely to provide proactive foot and boat patrols on and around the cities rivers at high risk times. Our aim from this event is to raise £5000 in order to equip our foot patrol personnel with adequate search and rescue and personal protective equipment. We aim to do this by taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge on July 21st 2016, which involves reaching the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowdon all within 24 hours.
