YoungDementia UK is dedicated to ensuring people affected by young onset dementia have the best opportunity to live well. Dementia is _young onset_ when it affects people of working age, usually between 30 and 65 years. The condition occurs at a time in people_s lives when they are likely to still be working, have financial responsibilities and children or parents to care for. We understand and respond to the physical, emotional, financial and social challenges of having dementia in the prime of life.
