Story

Yeovil Freewheelers EVS is a registered charity operating in South Somerset to provide an out-of-hours unique free courier service between hospitals and patients in their homes. The charity operates a fleet of three motorcycles to carry urgently needed medical items such as blood, biological samples, medical notes, x-rays and medicines. The service is provided free of charge and all members are unpaid volunteers.The charity saves Yeovil Hospital a minimum of _65,000 - _70,000 per year.
