YC2 Youth Club provides a welcome respite for local young carers aged 7 to 18 to take some time out just for themselves in a group which offers confidentiality, support, friendship and fun. All our young carers have substantial personal caring responsibilities for one or more family members. We seek to alleviate the emotional burden that makes them feel isolated and can have long term detrimental effects on their progress in school, their friendships and their motivation for an independent future.
