About

We aim to create a Community Hub which will act as a safe and secure environment for people who need help- socially, economically, or physically. We will offer courses and training for employment, business, finance and accounting, health and healthy eating, and fitness, (among many others), all led by certified instructors at no cost to the community. There will also be support groups of many varieties, space for clubs and youth groups, and meeting spaces for anyone to conduct business, learn, or gather. Additionally, to increase the ability to for connection building and allow for wider access to our services, as well as act as a provision in case of Covid-19 restrictions or lack of ability to attend our physical hub, many courses, classes, and other resources will be made available on our online ‘Virtual Community Hub’. All of our services will be available for anyone in need of help, but the physical hub will cater to the needs of those in the local community of Barnet. However, in order to run workshops and pay for tutors to deliver the workshops, we have estimated we will need £3,000. On top of that we will need £40,000 to cover volunteer and staffing costs.
