I am cycling 1000 km through winter. I am dedicating my kilometers to Rights of Nature Europe. You can support me by adopting my kilometers. Together we are turning kilometers into money. All the funds go to Rights of Nature Europe, whose work is to ensure that rights of ecosystems are in our laws, just like human rights! My journey starts from Evian-les-Bains (France) all the way through Switzerland to Vienna (Austria) and, if possible, back. This would mean a total of over 2,000 km in cold and unpredictable weather conditions (Update: the journey stopped in Vienna and I came back by train, so I set the target donations to only £1,000). This is my personal challenge, but the fun part is that I also have a challenge for you: donate 1 GBP for every kilometer that I make! This will mean that at the end of my trip Rights of Nature Europe will receive a total of 2,000 GBP. As you donate, each amount is directly donated to Rights of Nature Europe through the Givey platform. I believe that every traveler, short or long-term, can and should start considering dedicating their travel to a cause that they care about and that the world needs. I have chosen Rights of Nature because I believe that we must fundamentally change the relationship between humankind and nature. Through its activities, Rights of Nature Europe encourages and helps governments and citizens to make this change happen at a core level in our societies and I want to support this organization.
