A charity that recycles wheelchairs to Africa The wheels for Africa appeal is a project run by the Terence Mills Trust which was started up to help disabled people in Africa. The status of their disadvantaged and poor usually means they have to beg on the streets, most of the time going ignored. A suitable wheelchair opens up new possibilities and opportunities for an independent life and allows individuals to be no longer considered as outcasts from society, but valued members of their community.
