Historia

Village Water provides sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene education to rural communities living in poverty in the Western Province of Zambia. Results are long-lasting. Children avoid the life threatening diseases caused by insufficient water and poor hygiene practice. Families no longer go hungry. Children have the time to attend a local school. Farmers are able to harvest crops throughout the year instead of the single crop reliant on the rainy season. Surplus food can be sold at local markets.
