Story

Village Africa's aim is to alleviate poverty in rural Tanzania in the fields of health and education. Our project is based in the West Usambara Mountains in the remote areas of Yamba and Milingano. The charity runs a health post, an ambulance service, a teaching programme in primary and secondary schools and renovates and builds facilities needed by the community. The charity has created jobs and overseas volunteers work with local people.
