Story

From our base in the VPBC building we have been actively involved in our local community in Tower Hamlets for over 150 years.

Some initiatives over the last 20 years have included early years provision and summer holiday clubs, through to coffee afternoons for older people and a night shelter for homeless people. Our partners use our building for a range of activities including healthy eating, exercise, youth engagement, drama, art and film groups.

In the last few years we had to carry out extensive repairs to our roof to extend the life of the building. We are now planning to improve access to the building in order to make it a safe and useful resource for more of our neighbours.

Most of our regular income is not shown here as it is received directly from our members and partners. However, if you would be willing to support us via this website, we would be most grateful.
