Well, I may have gone slightly crazy, but having only completed one marathon before (in 2019), I’ve gone and signed myself up for 3 autumn marathons (all within the space of 7 weeks!) I would like to raise money for mASCot, a local charity and support network for families who have an autistic child or young person. It is run completely by volunteers, all parents of ASC kids, and they put their heart and soul into the mASCot community. They work closely with the Local Authority, Services and Schools to raise awareness, standards and understanding of ASC. They run many different clubs and groups, as well as providing training, support and guidance. They are a lifeline for a lot of families, so I’d like to give something back, and help raise funds so they can continue their amazing work.
