Having entered the world of work in 1974, I will be retiring on 28 June. To commemorate this event I have decided to use my concessionary pass to travel by bus from John O'Groats to Lands End - a journey that will be spread over 17 days , 45 buses, 12 overnight stays in b&bs/hotels and around 2 days 18 hours actually on the buses. The journey is due to commence at JoG on Monday 2nd July and end in Lands End on my birthday on Wednesday 18 July, my 65th birthday. By the end I will have travelled over 1,200 miles.
