Three Peaks Challenge for Palestine: Ollie, Jude, Thijs, Toly and Sam. On Saturday 13th July, we will attempt to complete the UK Three Peaks Challenge in support of the UK-based charity Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). Within 24 hours, we will endeavour to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) as a group of 5 people from both the UK and the Netherlands. We hope you will take the time to donate (100% of your donation will go directly to MAP). For over 30 years MAP has been working to support the healthcare needs of vulnerable Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. It is an amazing charity that works across Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. MAP provides emergency Medical Relief, supports primary healthcare clinics to ensure access to essential health services, offers psychological care, trauma counselling and mental health support to those affected by conflict and displacement and works to train and build the capacity of local healthcare professionals to improve health outcomes within their communities as well as so much more. "MAP's vision is a future where all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realisation of their rights to health and dignity."
