Story

In 1989 we established the Pacuare Nature Reserve, a working reserve focused on environmental education, conservation and research. Biologists, field assistants,guards, visiting student groups from Costa Rica and overseas, protect, gather data from 1000 Ha of forest and 6 Kms of beach, most important nesting site in Costa Rica, for the endangered leatherback turtles.
