Story

BASIC is an independent charity that has been in operation since 1986. We provide specialist services unavailable elsewhere for victims of traumatic brain or spinal injury or a neurological diagnosis such as stroke, MS, ME, Parkinson's and other conditions. We also provide support to carers and families of sufferers. Services have been developed from the needs & feedback of clients & are based on the principles of self-help, enabling people to regain control of their lives and lessen dependency on carers.
