The objectives of the Tarbat Discovery Centre are to explore the past of Portmahomack and the Tarbat area which shows the overall rich history from its earliest habitation to the present day, with particular emphasis on the significance of the monastic site and Tarbat's role as an early Scottish Christian settlement.
