Dear Friends and Family, This year I have decided to challenge myself, and on the 2nd of June I will be participating in the Blenheim Sprint Triathlon! The race consists in 750m swim, 20 km bike and 5 Km run. I wanted it to be more than just the satisfaction of getting to the end of the race by giving it a meaning, and help, even if in a small way, people who have been diagnosed with cancer and need a constant support to live with this horrible illness. The cause is really close to my heart and I hope you will decide to help them with me! The money I will be able to raise will be donated to the Cancer support Foundation Cancro Primo Aiuto (Cancer first aid). It’s a no-profit organization set up to help cancer patients and their families to get through the hardship of dealing with cancer by helping them not only medically and psychologically but also giving them completely free daily support. The volunteers, doctors and social workers are fully committed to give the best care possible and help with even the smaller things like driving the patient to the hospital.
