StreetGames works across the UK’s most disadvantaged communities, ensuring that those growing up in challenging circumstances have access to great sports coaching and facilities.

In 2014 StreetGames took young people from across the country to the Glasgow Commonwealth games.

Uk Athletics have kindly donated tickets for us to distribute amongst young people from our 800 projects.

We want to take 350 young people from across the UK to see elite sports, access a programme of great sports and activities and leave with memories that’ll stay with them the rest of their life.

A lot of people reading this will have been lucky enough to enjoy camping trips with the scouts or guides when they were younger. Most will have had day trips out to explore the country and opportunities to mix with people from different areas and backgrounds on family holidays.

StreetGames thinks trips like these are an important part of growing up, and we’re trying to make it happen for young people up and down the country this summer. For many this will be the only holiday they’ll get this year.

For some this will be the first time they've ever left their community.
