Story

The charity's aim is to keep those unwanted but loveable horses healthy, to provide them with homely conditions and give them a decent life that they can enjoy. St Mary's Horse Refuge provides living space, food, care and attention to relieve the suffering of horses and ponies, some of whom may have been kept in poor conditions, are lonely, not ridden, are neglected, ill-treated, mal-nourished, in need of medical care and need a new home and new owners.
