In May 2018 our world fell apart when our five year old Granddaughter Beau (& niece to Jack) was diagnosed with cancer. For days after the diagnosis Beau's entire family asked one question... why us, why our innocent little woman? Cancer leaves a trail of destruction where you feel emotionally, physically and mentally drained and wish you could take the pain away from them. We all handled it in different ways, acceptance, anger, sorrow. Beau is a brave and tough little lady who is fighting it hard with great dignity. In situations like this families feel very alone and have an overpowering sense of uselessness, however we have received the most wonderful support form The Harry Johnson Trust; The trust offers help and support to children and teenagers who receive care from the Oncology Team at The Princess Royal Hospital in Shropshire. Read more about this amazing trust at https://www.theharryjohnsontrust.co.uk/
Thank you will never be enough for what this trust has done for Beau, her Mum & Dad and the rest of Beau's family, so in return I along with other members of Beau's family will be taking part in a 10K Wolf Run in September to help raise vital funds for the Harry Johnson Trust.
Many people have said to us, if you need anything or can we do anything for you, so apart from keeping Beau in your thoughts and prayers, please sponsor me so I can at least give something back to such a wonderful Trust who have taken us under their wing.
Thank you, From Beau’s Grandad Steve & Uncle Jack xxx
