Story
I am the Manager for a small charity in Northampton called Spencer Contact. It is primarily a furniture re-use charity but we do so much more than just furniture! We collect, free of charge, pre-loved items of furniture and other household items. Once back at the warehouse we clean, repair if necessary, and check all the items ready for stock. Our customers can place orders for good quality, clean furniture which is then given to them FREE OF CHARGE. We simply charge a small delivery fee to cover a percentage of the delivery cost. Due to a wonderful team of regular volunteers, we are also able to provide packs of ancillary items alongside the furniture, such as bedding, cutlery, curtains, towels, pans, kitchen items and so much more. We do not have a charity shop so in order to keep going we conduct two week long sales each year to raise vital funds. Every penny raised goes straight into the charity to maintain the important work carried out in our town. We appreciate your support!
