Brates is a 6 months old baby from Ethiopia in need of heart surgery for Atrioventricular septal defect. This medical attention requires minimum payment of £27,000 and takes place in Israel. This is because the surgery is not offered anywhere in this second most populated country in Africa. Her parents live by making ends meet. They intend to sell their house but only to cover a very small portion. I am one of a group of people determined to spear her little heart as friends of her parents. My goal is to raise £10,000 the first half of the money asked of them.
