SPACE staff and artists' will be participating in Run Hackney, a half-marathon on Sunday 8 May 2016, to raise £3500 to support a recent art graduate who is at a critical point in their artistic career. We do this by providing a rent free studio for one year. In a city that’s increasingly unsustainable for artists, particularly graduates with student loans and more to deal with, SPACE wants to ensure that talent not money is the route to success as an artist, and support greater diversity in the visual arts. However small, any support you can give is enormously welcome. Thank you.
