Our aim is to help people in Africa to gain access to good primary health care. In Ethiopia many people die from diseases that are simply, easily and cheaply preventable or treatable: malaria, diarrhoea, respiratory infections and malnutrition. 1 child in 8 dies before its 5th birthday. The risk of a mother dying in childbirth is 1 in 14.
