Sheila & Gill are crazy enough to go for a long walk around Mersea Island on Saturday 10th June 2017 as part of this years national Samaritans sponsored walk. The total distance is 13.5 miles (each) and we are fundraising for The Samaritans, a very important charity that means a lot to both of us. Every penny that we raise will help keep the Herts and Essex Branch in Ware running. The branch answers around 40,000 calls a year from people who just need to talk about what's troubling them.
