The Soundhouse Choir is fundraising for participation in the International Choir Festival in Santiago de Cuba, in October this year!
In its third year, with sell-out performances and now with 123 members, Soundhouse Choir has been invited to Cuba by the Edinburgh based cultural travel agency Caledonia Worldwide, to perform a set of songs representing both historical and contemporary Scotland. Nearly 40 choir members are already committed to the trip.
As a choir with a strong ethic of inclusion, the choir feels that members who cannot afford the cost of the trip should be able to participate in this amazing opportunity and so this fund-raising effort is to enable them to do just that.
