The Scoliosis Association (UK) (SAUK) aims to provide advice, support and information to people with scoliosis and to raise awareness among health professionals and the general public. SAUK is the only national support charity for people with scoliosis. Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine, in which the spinal column can also twist, pulling the ribcage out of position. It affects 3 to 4 in every thousand people.
