Hi all, I have always been highly passionate about people and improving people's lives. Whether thats through my love of science and healthcare or through charity. It, excites me and puts a smile on my face to see people's lives inprove and change for the better and am hoping to start increasing my charity work - what better way than to help single/ young women in Sattenpali India provide for their families? Through Adventure Aid we want to increase the delivery of courses aimed at providing these mothers with new skills in Sattenapalli, Tiruvuru and Hanuman Junction with 15 women per location. The course is designed to run for 3 months and on successfully completing the course each woman will receive their own sewing machine to allow them to earn an income for their family. All the participants are either single mothers or young women with little or no education who currently work in agriculture for around £2 per day and so this training could change their lives as producing two garments a day will provide around £4, surprisingly this will provide the funds to send their children to private school, improve their living standards or further their education.
