I know, another fundraiser, but when I was invited by Scott to take the slightly tougher than Ryanair option, on two wheels to Les Seihols in the Languedoc, back in January, it seemed like a chance to get away from the editing screen, and then Ia chance to raise some money ... and for Syrian Relief; well its not getting better there anytime soon... So please - I am doing something challenging to say the least - Dieppe to the South of France - on a borrowed bike (thanks Phil and Rachel), with borrowed shorts (thanks whoever left them in my flat) and borrowed nerves of steel (thanks Clare, don't worry mum), and borrowed thighs (thanks Julie). We're doing 1000k apparently (O) and Sarah B's promised a parting gift of lube. I have a crack peloton - Alex, Malcolm and Scott. We'll be lean as whippets, and fuelled by red wine and lamb. Bedrooms arrangements are loose but snoring comes into the discussions - and Malcolm has promised at least one luxury stop with a bath on the way. Hopefully Saira and Clare will bring some female company by the time things get Massif Central! So please donate the littlest bit - I have been told this charity website doesn't charge anything... so every pound goes to the good cause.
