In 2006 two major earthquakes and a tsunami hit the South Western coast of Java, villages were destroyed, thousands killed, families devastated and children orphaned. The Safe Haven Projects charity was formed to help the victims of the disasters rebuild their lives, we currently provide aid, support and education to those in need. Our Fly Free project focuses on educating the disadvantaged and homeless children who were begging on the streets to survive, our goal is that these children will one day have options, choices and chances of their own.
In 2007 and 2013 we successfully opened two charity schools and these schools are now operating at maximum capacity and are well established. Our fundraising is to ensure these schools will continue to provide disadvantaged children the opportunity to create their own futures.
