In March I watched my daughter run a half marathon for a great cause ! I was inspired watching such a variety of people pushing themselves to achieve their goals for so many great causes. So I decided even at the ripe old age of 62 that I could at least complete a 10k for a good cause myself. Hayley has put herself forward again to support her old man ! Part of me thinks I’m crazy having not done any strenuous exercise for a few years but what is a few hours of discomfort compared to what so many poor children and families are facing everyday! So I’ve got my running shoes on and have already successfully ran 6k in training ! Having raised four children myself I can’t even begin to think how cruel life can be to so many poor children and their families. Noah’s ark children’s hospice aim to provide flexible services for the whole family to enable them to live positive lives even through facing such struggles.
