To strive, through the provision of specialist services and research, to enable those with profound or complex disabilities resulting from damage to the brain, or other areas of the nervous system, to enjoy an optimal quality of life through enhanced independence. Fundraising aims to bridge the gap between what statutory funders pay for patient care, and the income needed to deliver the charity's vision of enhanced independence, improved quality of life and the greater dignity that derives from it.
