I know a few folks couldn't make it to the vision4kids ceilidh in our barn on Saturday night past but have asked if there is a way to make online donations. So, I've set up this giving page and will be very grateful if you can make a small donation. Many of you will be aware that I am the UK Sponsorship Programme Coordinator - matching children in our sponsorship programme in Kiambururu, Kenya to families in the UK (and around the world) who donate on a monthly basis towards their child's educational needs. We're grateful that the sponsorship programme keeps on growing year by year, however another key project for vision4kids in Kenya is the building of a new primary school where the children will receive a high-quality Christian education and it's this project, that funds raised through the ceilidh, will be going towards. We've just finished building a two-storey classroom block of four classrooms and we hope they'll be ready for the children to use from the beginning of term 3 in September, but we currently need to purchase desks and chairs for them (at least 75 desks & chairs priced at £20 for each individual set).
