To relieve the poverty of slash and burn farmers in rainforest areas and at the same time save rainforests. We do this by helping farmers to adopt a new better way of farming called Inga alley cropping. With this method they do not need to keep burning more rainforest. They can farm the same plot long term and make a better living than before.
