Team Lou & Shed are taking part in the Steeple Chase in Norwich on the 26th October 2014, raising money and awareness of Poppy's Place Animal Rescue. The Steeple Chase is a 10k race including up to 30 different horse jumps, water obstacles and a 150meter freezing river wade. Poppy's Place Animal Rescue is a small animal rescue based in Essex. They are a 100% non-profit and non-destruct organisation. Poppy's Place works incredibly hard to give unwanted or stray animals a second chance in life. For a rescue that is less than 6 months old, Poppy's Place have achieved an incredible amount, from fundraising in order to build the rescue, to rehoming cats and kittens, to filling a 24ft cat run with awesome toys for their guests to enjoy, to organising their very own winter fair. We have chosen Poppy's Place as we believe this is one of the best animal charities in Essex and we want to support all of their hard work and help them grow even further. All of the money raised will go straight back into Poppy's Place, helping them to feed and care for their animals.
