I am attempting my second marathon. The first was like running through hell and I finished in 3h 17mins. The very next day I signed up to the Brighton marathon (taking place on the 12th April) and vowed to finish in under three hours.
More importantly, I am raising money in aid of The Rowans Hospice. They are a very local charity to me (about 4 miles away), dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. They provide their services free of charge but each year it costs 4.8 million pounds to continue their work.
Any money you can give would really help The Rowans Hospice and spur me on to beat three hours. Please remember to Gift Aid if you are eligible.
