As part of the School’s ‘Highgate is Here’ charity initiative, the Pre-Prep is proud to present ‘Outside 1000’. ‘Highgate is Here’ raises money for Highgate’s charitable priorities, including relief for Highgate families in hardship, our sister school the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham, and other initiatives such as our DTE department’s PPE production or donations to local food banks or key workers.

What is ‘Outside 1000’?

At this time, we are aware of just how important outdoor exercise is, both for children’s physical and mental health. Therefore, ‘Outside 1000’ aims to encourage children to spend time outdoors, whilst also raising money for an important cause.

‘Outside 1000’ challenges every Pre-Prep pupil to spend 1000 minutes outside between now and the end of term (26 March). This can be in the form of exercise, daily walks, MY MILES, working towards your Eco-Warrior badge or any other outdoor activity of their choice.
