The Peninsula Medical School's Clinical Photobiology research team investigates the prevention, causation and treatment of skin cancer - the most common form of cancer in the UK. Every penny donated supports our clinical and experimental research programmes in Cornwall and enables our work to continue. Our world leading research of dermatological photodynamic therapy (PDT - a light activated drug treatment for skin cancer that normally heals without scarring) is already directly benefiting patients.
