Thank you for taking the time to visit my Givey page. I am really excited/nervous/scared to be taking part in a skydive on 1st April 2018 to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Every 10 minutes someone hears the devastating news they have Breast Cancer, with 55,000 women diagnosed every year. Breast Cancer Care is a great charity which provides expert guidance, information and emotional/practical support to build up the confidence and self-esteem that is lost by thousands of women each year through the harsh realities of suffering from this illness. The money raised from donations will give me the motivation I need to complete this challenge by 100% of donations going to Breast Cancer Care and the guidance and support these ladies require, a challenge which seems so small in comparison to those and the decisions faced by these ladies every day. The reason for my jump occurring now is it coincides with my University Netball Team’s, FeBRAry netball tournament in support of Breast Cancer which they host each year. It is an illness which affects many people around the UK, including the family members of those who are suffering, Breast Cancer Care is the perfect solution to help these people on the road to recovery.
