Every year 6500 women in the UK are diagnosed with ovarian cancer; every 2 hours a woman in the UK dies, it is the 5th most common cause of death for women in the UK and the most deadly of the gynaecological cancers. Ovarian Cancer Action the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity, is dedicated to driving up survival rates by funding world-class research into its causes, treatment and prevention; by raising awareness of the symptoms and by giving a voice to all those affected by it.
