I was shocked and sickenned when a Wales Air Ambulance collection tin was stolen from my shop, and I was determined to reimburse this wonderful and essential charity for what had been stolen from them. Me and my friend Nicki Maddocks have a serious fear of heights, but we have accepted a challenge to zip line 500 feet above the lake, for a mile, at up to 100 mph at ZipWorld. We will face our fears together on Sunday 8th June 2014. It costs WAA 1,500 for each flight. Please help us both to raise the cost of at least one single flight. Many lives are saved in rural areas where regular ambulances take too long to reach a patient. WAA relies totally on donations.
