Of all the immediate problems in the world, I feel that stopping torture and standing up for dignity and Human Rights are the most immediatly solvable actions we can take. We dont need to throw money at the problem; this problem needs professionals; lobbyists, activists, campaigners, filmakers, lawyers, photographers, writers, artists; to challenge injustice, take legal actions, and ultimately improve how our species treats itself. you can see some of the work they do here: http://www.amnesty.org.uk/issues Having watched my good friends like Andrew, Katherine and Charlotte working at Amnesty UK; I know the amount they give and the hours they put in to work they do. I know that these people and their colleagues are exactly the people to help. If someone you love is ever a victim of injustice, in a secret jail, suffering torture, waiting for death, in the darkest of places; Amnesty might be the only people to whom you can turn.
