Meet team Can't Stop Raising (CSR), 7 RBS interns determined to make a difference. We are raising money for The Prince's Trust by completing a half marathon (21km) around London in the shape of a crown (inspired by The Prince's Trust logo). Some of the notable locations on our route are - Buckingham Palace (where the founder of The Prince's Trust, Prince Charles, was born), Prince of Wales Theatre and The Prince's Trust centre. Around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. The Prince’s Trust addresses this by giving practical and financial support to the young people who need it most – those who are unemployed, leaving care, underachieving in education and who have served time in the prison system. They help develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to move into work, education and training or into business start-ups and self employment. For the young people that we work with, The Prince’s Trust is often the last resort. Instead of offering hand outs, we provide them with the opportunity to learn life-long skills to equip them for the future. Their aim is to give these disadvantaged young people a fresh start so that they can change their lives for the better.
