60 continuous year’s faithful Christian witness and ministry
Story

Welcome To The Giving Page For The NTCG Leeds Develpment Project

In the autumn of 2019, the New Testament Church of God in Leeds will have served the city for 60 continuous year’s faithful Christian witness and ministry.

Throughout that time many have come to faith, many new ministries were birthed and many lives were touched across the city, whether that was through the church’s evangelistic endeavours or its social responsibility ministries.

The New Testament Church of God here in Leeds is serious about being the salt and light of Christ, impacting and supporting our local communities. For us, being an outward facing church is not a mere rhetoric, it is lived out and expressed through the various ministries supported by the church. Today the church has over 320 members, approximately 70 children and a significant number of adherents who look to the church for support, whether that is spiritually or otherwise. For almost 60 years the New Testament Church of God has been a beacon in the Chapeltown and Harehills areas of the city. Due to the growth of our membership and the range of ministries that we facilitate for local communities, our current building has reached its capacity. Therefore if growth and the level of support we provide are to continue it would be necessary for us to increase the size of the building to accommodate this.

We have made a decision to remain in the area that we have been a witness to for almost six decades and part of a fundraising venture is to raise the necessary funds to support the development. Our target is £1.5 million and our desire is to complete the project, as near as possible to Autumn 2019, the 60th anniversary of the Church of God’s presence here in Leeds. Therefore on behalf of myself and the leadership of the church, we are encouraging as many individuals, community groups and businesses to support this venture with a generous, either one-off donation or regular giving.

Our vision is to increase the sanctuary seating capacity by 30% and create a number of seminar rooms to accommodate our growing children’s and youth work, with a dedicated Learning/Training Centre and a number of rooms or office space for community use.

Thank you in advance for supporting our development project. As we remain co-workers in building His house, may the Lord bless and keep you; may His favour be your portion. Please follow the online instructions to make your donations.

Heaven’s blessings.
