Hi everyone, I have rather foolishly decided to sign up for Tough Mudder at the end of September and thought i would try and raise some money for a good cause in the process. If you havent heard me talk about Acorn Overseas before, please feel free to check out the main details of the charity on their Givey Page https://www.givey.com/acornoverseas Ive been lucky enough to visit this orphanage twice (2014,2016) and on both occasions was completely taken aback by the families generosity and kindness in the face of such a challenging environment. The orphanage is continuing to grow and Ita and Goin (Parents) currently have 52 children under their care. This is a lot to handle for a young couple and i know they would appreciate any help they could get. £13 will send a child to school for a year. £19 will cover the cost of uniforms for a year (4 sets..they grow a lot) £250 would feed all 54 people (staff included) for 6 days.
