About
Project Embabazi works with Bakiga communities in rural south-western Uganda to prevent and relieve poverty by providing funding, training and support for sustainable community projects.

The COVID pandemic has left Project Embabazi with a large deficit in its finances and a number of incomplete building projects. We need to raise £6,000 in order to complete 7 classrooms at Kyeibale Primary School and to renovate the boy’s dormitory at Kamuronko Secondary School to provide a sanitary living environment.

To support this cause I have signed up to complete the ‘Race to The King’ on 19th June 2021. This is a 53 mile run (with quite a bit of walking I think) along the rolling hills of the South Downs Way from Arundel to Winchester. Whilst I have done a longer distance runs in the past, the furthest I’ve ran is a Marathon.. so this is genuinely a challenge for me, and one that I’m quite nervous about!

If you feel able to support my crazy challenge I would very much appreciate your donation, however large or small.
